This was a tender proposal to act as the lead Architect to carry out the design work for the Phase 3 Sports Pavilion development for Aberdeen Sports Village (ASV).
The design is based on a plan provided by the Client where we proposed a dynamic butterfly roof over the main function space and the changing rooms. The structure would be expressed internally which also provided high levels of natural light to the spaces below.
The entrance was to be marked with coloured cladding and a café seating area was proposed to overlook the sports pitch adjacent. The plant room was located centrally as a contrasting element again to mark the entrance from a distance.
